Slack

The Songwhip app for Slack listens for music links (eg. Spotify, AppleMusic, etc) shared on the channels you've added it to. Whenever it detects a known artist/album/song link it uses the Songwhip lookup engine to find all the matching streaming links and adds buttons directly to the original Slack message so your colleagues can jump straight to their platform of choice.

Getting started

1. Install Songwhip to your chosen Slack Workspace using the button at the bottom of this page.
2. Add Songwhip to the Channels you'd like it to work on.
3. Share a music link in one of theses channels.
4. Wait for Songwhip to attach the streaming buttons to the bottom of your post.

How to add Songwhip to a channel

To give you control over where the app works, Songwhip will only enhance links that are shared on Slack Channels that it has been added to.
