About this artist

It's amazing how children interpret art and music. The Langly School Music Project is a recorded masterpiece from the '70s of the talented (and wonderfully untalented) children who studied at Langly School's music program. From David Bowe to Brian Wilson and the Eagles, these kids reinvented rock 'n' roll while suckers like the rest of us had to eat paste and construction paper while huffing ditto ink. Maybe it was the vibe of the time or the purist's analogue recording devices, but something about these recordings is magical. Check out the winding guitar feedback, the overlapping sheets of young vocal harmonies, and the innocence of a generation left behind for the soul-less production and cold aesthetics of the '80s.
