About this artist
Born and raised on the East side of Joliet, Lucid started rapping when he was 13. He has since captured audiences throughout the midwest with his raw emotion and lyrical content. Lucid started a movement that took off amongst fans called “Looney Gang”. He used this movement to establish a close relationship with his fans. In July of 2018 Lucid headlined a suicide prevention show that him and his team helped put together. All of the proceeds went to the Will County suicide hotline. To this day he continues to work with various charities including a yearly toy drive for less fortunate children around Christmas time. LucidSoLooney has opened up for some of the biggest acts in music today, such as Wu Tang Clan, Machine Gun Kelly, G Herbo, Caskey, Afroman, and more.
In the summer of 2019 LucidSoLooney signed to UK based record label, Sushi Gang Entertainment on an initial 2 album deal. We have plans to grow his presence and continue his atmospheric shows outside of Chicago, and eventually overseas.
