Kira Divine

Broadway actor of Guyanese decent Kira Divine (Shakira Marshall) is a new independent artist in the global music scene. A native of Queens, New York this versatile singer-songwriter/choreographer and dancer is releasing her debut single “My Season” off of her forthcoming Freshman album “Divinity” slated to release in 2021. You may have seen her recently on tour and featured in Australian electronic band PNAU’s singles and music videos including platinum hits like “Chameleon”, “Go Bang” and most recently “Solid Gold”.

Kira also works very closely with Grammy award winning singer-songwriter Ms. Lauryn Hill as a choreographer, private dance instructor, featured dance soloist and sometimes background vocalist in her live shows including “Black Girls Rock” and “Diaspora Calling” streamed live on TIDAL. Kira most recently returned to working with Jill Scott after a 10 year hiatus as a choreographer for her 20th Anniversary tour “Who is Jill Scott” 2020.
