My pieces have been created by computer. SoundMaps repetitively sends bitmap pixel values within windows drawn on the desktop to the soundcard. Pixels inside the windows change when manipulations are carried out in e.g. Photoshop. The pixels may be sent to the soundcard 1) without manipulation or 2) interpreted as a frequency spectrum or 3) interpreted as a music instrument keyboard.
