About this artist

Dancing light-footed along the border between classic folk and anthemic rock In Lonely Majesty succeeds in combining the best from two great worlds. By spicing up the classic folk music with alternative upbeat rock arrangements and solid lyrics In Lonely Majesty present a unique indie folk sound certain to start a party but also a sound with a potential to fill up huge stadiums and festival stages across the world.
This potential was truly evoked with the release of their first single Sing in the Dark. This sublime and grandiose track caught the attention of people across the world and after Pepsi used this track in an international TV commercial the band won the hearts of fans all over the world. The track has reached over half a million streams worldwide, captured the top spot of the Egyptian iTunes list and is furthermore among the top 20 most Shazamed songs in Saudi Arabia.
In Lonely Majesty feature lead singer/songwriter Lasse Helboe, vocalist/drummer Anders Rønne, vocalist/basist Andreas Ohn and vocalist/guitarist/banjo Jeppe Vejs. Together these four bearded guys kick-started their national career with a gig at SPOT Festival where they blew away Danish reviewers as well as music lovers by hosting an incredible folk-party evolving from a beautiful four part polyphonic a cappella concert into an explosion of danceable indie folk rhythms.
With shows at large Danish festivals in 2013, ’14 and ’15 In Lonely Majesty have without doubt proved their qualities as a festival band, but they are so much more than that. Through dreamy and thoughtful tracks like Sing in the Dark they also deliver the perfect soundtrack for your daydreaming. Sing in the Dark is the first single from In Lonely Majesty’s coming EP produced by Søren Balsner, who has previously produced for other Danish success acts as Carpark North, Mads Langer and Tim Christensen.
It is safe to say that In Lonely Majesty with their controversial mixture of genres presents something new and very unique and upon their self-made banjo-coated throne of well-produced indie folk and amazing live performances they are doubtlessly to this moment In Lonely Majesty.
