Flexx Kapone began rapping at the age of 10 as a way of expressing himself & staying out of trouble.What became a hobby grew into a passion as he continued to write as it helped him to cope with the lack of a bond with his mother and the absence of his father. Flexx moved back and forth from different regions of Mississippi & Memphis during his early life & to deal with the constant change he became more serious about his music.He felt that music symbolized some form of stability in his ever changing surroundings & the constant obstacles he faced. Flexx hopes to bring his pain & real life experiences into his music to give listeners an understanding of where he has been & give the story of a underdog who rose above adversity to make his dream a reality.
