Carrie Frey

Carrie Frey is a New York City-based violist, improviser, and composer focused on inquisitive collaborations. Frey is the violist of the Rhythm Method and a founding member of string trio Chartreuse and string quartet Desdemona. Her compositions have been described as “a moldering compost heap” (I Care if You Listen).
