About this artist
Described as 'outstanding' (The Times) young British soprano Caroline MacPhie has worked as a soloist with companies such as Royal Opera House, Opéra de Lyon, Opera North, Opera Project and Scottish Opera. On the concert and oratorio platform she has performed works from Bach to Szymanowski with leading orchestras including European Union Chamber Orchestra, Hallé, Philharmonia, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and Stockholm Sinfonietta at venues throughout Europe. Having made her Wigmore Hall debut in 2011, her recent debut album 'Love said to me....', released in Autumn 2014 received considerable critical acclaim both here and abroad, marking 'the decisive arrival of a fine young recitalist' (The Telegraph).
