Solillaquists of Sound

They set the stage for things to come with 'As if We Existed'. They simultaneously renounced and mourned society's champions with 'No More Heroes'. And now, with their upcoming double-album The 4th Wall, Orlando-based hip hop group Solillaquists of Sound bring their acclaimed "Listener's Trilogy" to a close, capping off a set of concept albums that have been a decade in the making.

As its title might indicate, The 4th Wall is all about breaking down the barrier between artist and listener (and in the process revealing that these archetypes are one and the same). With a backdrop crafted by group producer/MPCist DiViNCi that runs the musical gamut further than it ever has before, the album finds vocalists Swamburger and Alexandrah putting the power back into the hands of the listener. As they expand on ideas and approaches first planted in the previous two Solilla releases, they also shed light on the mysterious role that Tonya Combs plays in the group and set the stage for a new chapter in the book that is Solillaquists of Sound – exiting a world that will never be again, and evolving into a new entity
