Lost Acapulco is a pioneer musical group in the Surf - Rock scene in Mexico D.F.
The group was formed in the port of Acapulco, Mexico in 1996; One of its main features is the use of Mexican wrestlers masks by almost all members of this band.
It has become a cult band in Mexico which is characterized by its powerful and dizzying live performances; which the audience was transforming into frenetic and colorful tribal dances that with masks of fighters, flowered shirts and beach accessories that little by little the fans have been incorporating to the shows.
Its debut was in disc "4" in the year 1998 and counted on the production of Danny Amis (The Straitjackets). His compositions within the field of music speak about their lives full of surfing, and parties.
His tracks have been included in films of the "new Mexican cinema", such as Sexo, Pudor y Lágrimas, Perfume de Violetas, Atlético San Pancho, Matando Cabos, Santos Peregrinos and in animations by Jorge Alderete for MTV and Nickelodeon.
His presentations have been in places such as dance halls, night clubs, arenas, bullring, still lifes, fashionable places and private parties.
