Ganja White Night

Belgian electronic duo Ganja White Night’s sound was rooted in bass music with flashes of hip-hop despite having little exposure to American music when they were young. Benjamin "Bamby" Bayeul and Charlie "Erwan" Dodson grew up in the Belgian town of Mons and formed Ganja White Night in 2010. That same year they put out their debut record, Suncarbon. They returned in 2011 with In the Garden, and the next few years saw them release a steady flow of material culminating in their fourth full-length record Addiction. In what would prove to be an evolution for the duo, they paired with Belgian street artist Ebo to collaborate on their own animated universe. 2016′s Mr. Wobble was accompanied by fully animated music videos that recalled the semi-fictional band Gorillaz. ~ Bekki Bemrose
