Discovered after winning the 1994 series of Soundmixshow, the Belgian version of Stars in Their Eyes, with his impersonation of Julio Iglesias, Lede-born crooner Frank Galan then continued his run of success by scoring a hit debut album, Pasiones, in 1996 and a Flemish number one with the Sandra Kim duet “Door Veel Von Mij Te Houden” a year later. In 2006, he briefly co-hosted the quiz show 1 Jaar Gratis alongside his brother, TV presenter Herman Van Molle, and in 2012, achieved his highest-charting album with Mooier Dan Woorden. ~ Jon O’Brien
