Yuly

Guiliana Maiocchi, singer and hostess of Italian and English descent was born in Piura - Perú on March 6th, 1965.

In her teen years she dreamed of opening a gym for children since she was dedicated for years to Olympic gymnastics in her bornland.

While she was living in Perú a friend of her asked about to make a casting for an advertising commercial. She accepted and was chosen, since then her face became known in the modeling agencies and in the Peruvian television production companies.

In 1988 "Panamericana Televisión de Perú" was looking for a hostess that could manage a children's TV broadcast similar to one in those years already had the Brazilian hostess "Xuxa", Giuliana was summoned to a casting where she was chosen for the project. Since then she changed her artistic name to "Yuly" with which she got known in television's nationwide.

The children's TV broadcast called "El Show de Yuly" born in Perú on January 21, 1989 and lasted until February 1990, Yuly with her charisma, cheerful and fresh image revolutionizes the way of making children's TV broacasts in the country with a very agile and innovative format.

While Yuly was living in Perú she recorded some albums in cassette format with songs for children, a few years later she would record more albums of the same musical genre but in CD format.

In 1990 Yuly travels to Ecuador with her husband for work matters (at that time he was her boyfriend, a short time after they got married) since he was an advertising creative director for an international agency, being in Ecuador Yuly takes the opportunity to present her television project that started in Perú, she did it in a television station called "Teleamazonas" located in the city of Quito and the TV show began inmediately with an absolute success and the immediate acceptance of children and adults.

Since then Yuly has worked for TV broadcast "El Show de Yuly" Ecuador edition and has also performed as hostess of other television broadcasts such as "Splash" (Ecuavisa TV), "Nace una estrella", "Bailando por un sueño 2, "El show de los sueños", "Pequeños brillantes 1 & 2", "Héroes verdaderos 1, 2 & 3" (all these programs produced on Gamavisión TV), among more others.

Yuly has also been main image of several commercial brands and she has been hostess for local beauty contests.

Currently Yuly lives in Ecuador and is a very successful businesswoman in addition to being a well-known image for her experience in TV especially of her time as animator of the TV broadcast "El Show de Yuly".
