The Australian duo Yolanda Be Cool is best known for the song "We No Speak Americano," a collaboration with fellow Aussie producer DCUP. The song, which went to the top of the U.K. pop charts in 2010, pairs extended samples of a 1956 song by Italy's Renato Carosone with snappy house beats. The BBC radio DJ Rob Da Bank proclaimed it "electro-swing," citing a mini-movement in dance music based upon appropriated jazz and swing. The group takes its name from Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction.
