Joseph Akisanmi-Samuel also commonly known as Yemi Rush, is a UK Based Nigerian Singer and songwriter signed on to the Independent Music Label "Rush Music". Although always having an interest in Music, He began taking music seriously in 2007. Yemi Rush is fast becoming a rising star on the streets of London and he has performed at various Clubs and Music Venues around the UK (Players Club, Troxy and The Indigo O2 and the Hammersmith HMV Arena) to name a few. He's also had the honour of sharing the big stage with a lot of rising African stars like T-Pain, M.I, Wizkid, Iceprince, Brymo, Waje, Terry G, Timaya, 2Kriss and JJC Skills, Iyanya, Timaya and so many more
His music is described as a fusion of Pop, Rnb & Afrobeats and is aimed at the fastly growing African Music Market.
Few years down the line, Yemi Rush is now a household name in the UK. An Award Winning UK AfroPop star & a Producer, Hit Maker and many more . Over 10 Smash Hit play-listed Singles (BBC XTRA, COOL Fm Nigeria, Beat Fm London, Power Xtra London) till Date. Songs to include (Sweet Caro, Kill Me, Your Body, Gara, YODI, Elle, Cool Temper, Tell Me, Falling for you, Do Me Right and so many more) Toured around Europe in 2017 with DJ Cynthia MVP. The EP titled Y63 was in the top 100 On iTunes when it dropped.
