Who is Waynn Dikky ?
Legal name: Waynn Dwayne Dickson aka Waynn Dikky
Born: April 20th 1989 in AmericanFork, Utah.
Family: Growing up in a Mormon Community (Dickson) Dikky soon found ot at an early age that music was his calling at age 6 Waynn rapped "How great is our god" and stunned the whole community and was asked to join the Morman Baptist Community Church choir as a lead vocal and lead tamborine.
"I love to sing" said Dickson in a sit down interview with us, he soon seen rise to fame when he landed a spot pm AGT, he then joined a rap group F.T.S (Full Time Soliders) undergrounds most top selling artists in Seattle Washington and the greater NorthWest.
“I was in the group Fts we put out an album called Money Motivated, with Street Level Records in 1999- 2000 the albums did really well”. I followed it up with another album called IK Independent with Kash Understreet Level Records, I then released three solo albums and a compilation album the first one being Smoke Scarred Soul , I took a step back on that album wasn’t hitting for me my second one Been Out the Box with Red Door Records things started looking up and then I came back with my album Reflections of a Real Life when I was on a 25 state tour.
Jay Dub another member from Fts linked up and put out a two disc CD the first one being Street since part one features like Ampichino from Akron Ohio, Big Popsicle from Seattle, Syko the man behind the pill also known as the man who made The Thizz Dance for Mac Dre. Rest in peace to all three legends. We came back with the Streets Us Part Two which didn’t get released. We had the legend San Quinn on album, The Jacka from Mob Figgas rest in peace.
Some other legends Swisher Sleep, a lot of the producing was done by D’Sane who helped produce Macklemore hit Thrift Shop I’m the first hip-hop artist he ever actually did a song with we go way back. I put out a compilation I called The Red Directions along side the artist Bullet , Kane from DYS Click, Skuntdunna as well as many other artist that helped make that one a banger!
I’ve been on Syko’s album , Byrdie’s album another Seattle legend rest in peace linked up with Mr. revenues did some stuff in the black movement with some Callie cats and got the video with Sibo the ball head legend 2Pac‘s favorite rapper.
Just released an album with Jay Freez call Never Enough as well as my solo albums coming out WaynnDikky. Joe Hernandez, myself and Freez put a studio together and they were doing multiple projects out of Sip City Records.
I still mess with Mr. Outrageous hes well connected to everyone in Seattle I also put out The Boss Up album I was one of the four in the group me Byron Douglas CDougie and Hurt Lock rest in peace hurt Lock and C Dougie We made music under the record label Kop n Flip with Big Will, my guy Coup Santana was nice enough to let me be an affiliate with his record label Recession Proof and then I can’t forget my old school partner Q first person ever started writing with rapping with him since 1992 something like that I’ve done songs with Marvelous,Young Gangster Droop, I’ve done shows with Yuckmouth, Philthy Rich, RBL, Swisher Sleep ,Mac Waynn ,Mr Ragz ,Bullet .
Now in 2022 I’ll be one of the earliest members of eclipse distro which is ran by XL and two other big big heads and that’s all courtesy of my guy Joe.
I can’t forget to thank the 3 loves of my life Muzik for giving me an outlet to express my talent. My daughter (whom is serving across seas) for helping me become the best father I can be . and last but certainly not least my mom who gave me life, who never gave up on me and told me to chase my dreams. I love you always.
