Team Salut are an Afro-Electronic duo composed of Glenard Kojo Patnelli (GKP) and Gabriel Kweku Wood (Mr Wood). The multi-talented record producers, songwriters, artists and DJs, began by writing and releasing their own music, whilst collaborating with an array of artists to curate what was to be their sound. The duo soon began to produce for heavyweight acts including Wale, Davido and Patoranking. However, Team Salut would later gain international recognition by producing the smash hit Eugy x Mr Eazi - ‘Dance for Me’ in 2016. The powerhouse soon advanced their international takeover, with productions such as Afro B - ‘Drogba (Joanna)’ and Yxng Bane - ‘Vroom’ in 2018.
Producing such Afrobeat anthems has led to the pair being considered pioneers within the Afrobeats space. Team Salut have continued to evidence their versatility by releasing music featuring their own vocals, as well as producing remixes for acts such as Rita Ora, Burna Boy, Emeli Sande, Tove Lo, Anne-Marie, Banx & Ranx, Ella Eyre, Sigma, Shakka, Jonas Blue, Ozuna, French Montana, WizKid, Toddla T, T-Pain and more.
The pair have now teamed up to release 400%, a nostalgic blend of Ghanaian Afrobeats and modern minimalistic production. This song features Team Salut vocals once again, sure to get people moving as usual.
