Stefan Adam

German Bass/Baritone Singer

Stefan Adam is from Recklinghausen and grew up in the Münsterland. After graduating from high school he studied church music at the Robert-Schumann-Hochschule in Düsseldorf, before he began his studies at the Cologne University of Music and Dance, which he finished with distinction. His teachers were Prof. Edda Moser, Prof. Dietger Jacob, and Prof. Kurt Moll.
The main focus of his artistic work was in the fields of oratorio, song and concert. He has also worked at premieres of major oratorio works in Cologne and Düsseldorf. He gained first stage experience by working with Prof. Jakob Jenisch, Michael Hampe and Andreas Homoki.
