In 2016 her single, “Solo Yo” featuring her mentor, Prince Royce, made her the first female singer reaching the number 1 position on Billboard’s Latin Pop Charts in five years. Her predecessor was Jennifer Lopez in 2011.

Sofia participated in Premios Juventud 2016 performing “Solo Yo” with Prince Royce for the first time on TV.

She was featured on the list of People en Español’s “50 Mas Bellos”

“Louder!”, the song that gives the name to the album is a special collaboration with Spencer Ludwig, member of the band Capital Cities, who has also performed with Foster the People, Portugal, The Man, The Wailers, among others.

On October 2016, Sofía did an astounding performance of the hit “Solo Yo” as a solo act at the Latin American Music Awards.

At “Tu Awards” (One of the most important teen magazine’s Awards show) she was awarded as “Queen of Instagram and “Lifetime Achievement”; she also did a great performance of her hits “Louder!” and “Muevelo”

Sofia has worked with some of the top songwriters and producers like Prince Royce and Toby Gad (John Legend’s “All of me” & Fergie’s “Big Girls Don’t Cry”)

Her first studio album “Louder”, released on February 3rd 2017, debuted #1 in physical sales (US) and in the Top 3 of digital charts in General Latin & Latin Pop genres in the US.

In the last edition of Kids Choice Awards Mexico 2017 she was nominated in 3 categories taking home the award for “Best Collaboration” for “Llegaste Tu” Ft. Reykon.

Her new single, “1,2,3” is a collaboration with international R&B/Hip-hop star, Jason Derulo and Urban Puerto Rican Artist De La Ghetto, this new track is a fresh mix of rhythms that promises to become one of the hits of this 2018.
