Skye Wanda

South African female vocalist, Skye Wanda grew up in Chesterville near Durban, KwaZulu-Natal with her family. She comes from a musical background where everyone at her home, from her grandmother to her brothers and sisters can sing. She started singing at the age of 5, and her 1st major performance was at a council party at the community hall in chesterville. While growing up she was singing at church, community and school talent shows.

She has since been with different groups such as Black Reign, N.V.C and other groups, moving from production houses, such as Moja Pooh Productions, Caz, Zah and finally working with Lovechild Productions. Currently pursuing her solo career, she also sings other genres like Jazz, Gospel and House as a session musician.

She has performed at a lot of local events, such as popstars, HYPE AWARDS, Idols and the MTV Base events, while receiving radio airplay from national to community radio stations such as Gagasi 99.5, Y-FM and uKhozi FM to name a few.
