Sigrid Haanshus (born in 2002) became famous to the Norwegian people
when she participated in the TV-show Norske Talenter (Norway’s Got
Talent) in the autumn of 2015, where she obtained Gullknapp (the Golden
Buzzer) from the jury for her interpretation of I dreamed a dream from
Les Misérables. She became later a finalist in the same competition.

In the summer of 2017 Sigrid was chosen by NRK (The Norwegian Public

Sigrid’s first record, the single The Prayer, was released in March
2015, where she was singing a duet together with Stephen Brandt-Hansen,
one of Scandinavia’s best tenors. Many singles have been released since
then as well as a compilation album with all her songs so far. Her
compilation album has been published both digitally as well as on CD.
