Sharlene-Monique is a London based singer-songwriter. Her debut EP Destiny combines emotive, soulful vocals with inspiring songs of empowerment, love and self-acceptance; accompanied by music to move and soothe the soul. It has been streamed over 850,000 times internationally on Spotify including Japan, Taiwan & the Philippines. Her 2019 release Diamond woman has been on rotation on Jazz FM. Her music video ‘You’ won Best Solo, Best Inspirational and Music Video Of The Year at the Jump Music Video Awards 2017. In 2019 she was awarded for 'Best Performing Artist' & 'Originality/ Inspirational Music' from the women's organisation Voice & Hope'.
2019 started with a European tour spanning Amsterdam & Ireland, & boasting sold out shows in London & Norway. As a lead vocalist she's no stranger to the TV screen or big stages, having toured the length and breadth of UK & US with The Kingdom Choir, & performing on such platforms as The Today Show, The Kelly Clarkson Show and Access Hollywood to name a few. She's also performed on the hit TV show Call The Midwife in seasons 7 & 8. Sharlene's passion to inspire people and create music with a message is evident in every song she writes. She's currently working on her latest project 'Perspective' set for release spring 2021.
