SBB is likely the most well-known Polish progressive rock band. They have been performing over 45 years to date. SBB stands for Silesian Blues Band, but they sound more like their British colleagues in Camel - symphonic prog and jazz rock, with lots of improvs at their shows. They played in several cities and smaller towns in Sweden already in 1975, and in Denmark at the Roskilde Festival in 1978. That's also when they played a lot of then West German cities, as well as Esbjerg in Denmark.

These recordings have become available on albums only in the past 15 years on CDs and glorious vinyl. And just recently, they've released a series of "Live Cuts" DBL CDs from the late 70s, including a DBL CD recorded at the popular beach resort Sopot near Gdánsk in 1979, and in 2009 the aptly titled Live In Czechoslovakia 1980. Three Quarters in "An unknown place in Czechoslovakia" in June 1980, the infamous show when Józef Skrzek missed his train and the others had to play without him.
