Sandeep Batraa

Sandeep Batra, a software engineer from Delhi University, is trained in Hindustani Classical Music. He enthralled the music lovers when he stepped on the stage to sing at the tender age of six and has won various National level competitions both on screen and off screen including All India Radio’s Best Ghazal Singer and Best Singer award in 2005 by A R Rahman at a Nation wide Talent hunt. Winner of SaReGaMaPa, Sandeep became a familiar face in the Indian music industry with a huge fan following after he made it to the TOP 5 of FAME GURUKUL on Sony Tv where judges like Shankar Mahadevan, Javed Akhtar and KK highly commended his performance.
An “A” grade singer in Song and Drama Division, Ministry of I&B, Sandeep is blessed with a golden voice and proficient in various styles of singing. He emerged on the music scene with his hit debut album “Kaarri Kajrarei” released by Crescendo Music which received overwhelming response from masses and music critics alike. Thereafter his next album "Deepawali Aaye Re", a first of its kind which also did very well. He has done playback for the hindi movie “It’s a Man’s World” and also sung for soon to be released movies “Luv u Soniyo” and “Raakh”. He has also sung for kannada movies “Bisile” and “Kaanchanaa”.

Recently he has collaborated with a Music Director and a Lyricist to form a band called ‘WHITE’ and have released their first album with Artistaloud.com. His is a seasoned playback voice behind many Remixs, Serials and TV / Radio commercials for some of the top brands.

In 2009, he conceptualized and designed a unique and spectacular act called the MUSICAL LASER PERFORMANCE, which is the only act of its kind in the world. Recently, it was telecast on Sony Tv’s “Entertainment ke liye kuch bhi karega” and it was highly appreciated by one and all.
A livewire performer, Sandeep has performed at over 500 shows both in India and abroad. A people’s man, Sandeep is a complete entertainer who always leaves his audiences asking for more.
