A melodic but tough-sounding rapper from Salerno, Italy, Rocco Hunt (born Rocco Pagliarulo) was a teenager when he released his first singles, such as “Quante Cose,” and collaborated with Fritz da Cat and Clementino. He also signed to Sony Music Italy prior to his 20th birthday and released his debut album, Poeta Urbano, in 2013. His career received another boost the following year, when he took part in the Sanremo Music Festival and emerged the victor in the category of Nuove Proposte for emerging artists. Second album A Verità was released the same year. One of its singles, “Nu Juorno Buono,” reached number five on the official Italian pop chart. ~ Andy Kellman
