About this artist

Singer/songwriter Riley Clemmons is a Nashville native who delivers upbeat, faith-based pop with R&B-influenced vocals similar to Tori Kelly’s and Rachel Platten’s. She issued her debut single, “Broken Prayers,” in 2017, which appeared on her Billboard-charting eponymous first full-length effort one year later. Clemmons released her sophomore long-player, Godsend, in 2021.
Clemmons grew up singing in church and performing around town, but was discovered at a high school talent show. She signed with Capitol CMG Label Group and released her debut single, “Broken Prayers,” at the end of 2017. The song quickly found its way onto the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart. She issued her eponymous full-length debut the following year, which also saw chart success, debuting at number 28 on the Top Christian Albums chart and number 13 on the U.S. Heatseekers Albums chart. Clemmons released a handful of holiday songs in 2019, as well as the hit single “Fighting for Me.” That year, she was also nominated for the New Artist of the Year at the Dove Music Awards. In 2020, she collaborated with Lauren Alaina on the streaming hit “Over and Over.” Her second album, Godsend, appeared in 2021. ~ Neil Z. Yeung
