Rachel Rose, a Connecticut-born, Austin-launched, and Brooklyn-based folk singer/songwriter, has crafted a rich, nostalgic sound incorporating folk, rock, soul, and indie pop elements. Having firmly established herself as a vocalist, Rachel released her debut EP 100/10/1 in 2020. Since then, Rachel has continued to release original music, including her sophomore EP, And One More Thing (produced by Charles Myers. He’s most notably worked with singer-songwriter Yebba). She was one of three selected songwriters to open the Hootenanny Sessions at Cafe Wha? after a nearly 50-year hiatus, and she completed a 3-month residency at The Bitter End. She was chosen to open for Martin Sexton, Chance Emerson Theo Kandel, Rachel Baiman, Juliet Ivy, and more. Rachel also appeared on The Tonight Show’s “Battle of The Instant Songwriters” with Jimmy Fallon, and her original song, Back to The Beginning, was featured on Tiny Desk’s Top Shelf Segment in 2023 (Rachel made the top 36 out of 6,000 submissions).
