Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra (PSO) is an American symphony orchestra, based at Heinz Hall in the Cultural District of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1895 by the Pittsburgh Arts Society with conductor Frederic Archer.
