Vocalist Madison Penrose is no stranger to the microphone, having been an American Idol National Top 30 Finalist in 2010 and winning the Utah Idol competition in 2014.

After forming in April 2015, the band found their feet quickly. “It was pretty obvious from the very first rehearsal with the guys that we had something that was really good, high energy and unique” says Madison. “Everything just came together really quickly. Within just a few months, we were out playing shows with all original material and all the audiences were really into what we were doing. It was pretty exciting!”

Penrose were invited to join the 3 band “Blissmas Tour” in December 2015 with home grown favorites Royal Bliss and American Hitmen. Covering multiple Western U.S states, the tour received glowing reviews and quickly gained the young band a reputation as one to watch. Since that first tour, the band has been feverishly busy. Recent highlights include a show stealing performance at the Gallivan Center as part of the 2016 Make it Louder Music Festival (UT), live performances on Fox 13 Television, travel to Texas in June of 2016 for recording of their second EP with producer Eric Holtz and an exceptional performance delighting a 4000 strong crowd at the Snowbasin Brews, Blues & Bbq Summer Concert series (UT).

Audiences are treated to a high energy dynamic show, with the band transitioning seamlessly between catchy indie/pop melodies and energetic alt rock anthems, to lighter acoustic numbers that showcase Madisons formidable vocal range. Their style has prompted comparisons to Paramore, ZZ Ward and Pink. Penrose have impressed television audiences with powerful live performances on Comcast Cable Networks, Fox 13, Xfinity TV, and Park City Television. Penrose were selected to perform as part of the 2016 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, UT. Local Radio play of the bands first self-titled EP has been very well received and the band are continually impressing growing crowds at every show.
