Having started their show business careers as child entertainers, The members of Nothin But Heatt have been performing and keeping it hot in the California, Underground Hip-Hop music scene. the duo is Known in the hip-hop world as Young Mystro and Ova-Dose. respectively, In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Nothin But Heatt were rapping together, In Oakland and Los Angeles as the duo "Back 2 Back". After leaving the Bay Area and settling in the Southland, The group joined the popular Los Angeles-based hip-hop group "The Usual Suspects" Eventually releasing to retail stores the single What Type? In 1995, The Duo left the group, And once again started writing and performing as a phenomenal rap duo "Nothin but heatt". There highly touted debut album called "Dont Take It Personal" released in 2000 The album featuring hot songs like: "As The World Turnz" Seven Times, and Next Millennium Chips. Was written, arranged and performed completely by the Nothin But Heatt, And produced by the highly talented "Sky N. Bermudas" (Of LaFace fame) for Blackdrum productions. Its rare to find a gifted, conscious, powerful musical duo in todays music. Nothin But Heatt is comprised of the Oakland, California, -Born and bred act much less in the world of Rap/Hip Hop The musical, performance and personal chemistry between the Group is indelible, And the Los Angeles music community has already taken notice. The group has been asked to audition three years in a row (2000, 2001 & 2003) For the 100.3 FM Radio the beat Summer Jam opening act slot and already won a Power 106 FM contest. In 2001, Nothin But Heatt made it to the Top 5 final showcase audition at the historic The Palace. The groups California, Bay Area roots are evident in their unique attitude, style and music. Nothin But Heatt is recognized up and down the coast. The duo have worked and/or associated with some of the top names in Hip-hop and R&B music: Akon, The Pharcyde, Pharaoh Monch, Tupac Shakur, Dr. Dre, MC Eiht, Big Punisher, Eazy E, Fat Joe, Az Yet, Thug Life, Warren G, Nate Dogg, Shorty Mack, Jurassic 5, Brandy, Chino XL, Mack 10, The Gap Band, The Jacksons, Slum Village, ,IMX, B2K, BBD,the Roots, Bobby Brown, Outkast, Mos Def, Ray J, Fred Durst, Luniz, Ice T, Bishop Lamont, Ludacris, Spice 1, Kanisha Pratt and Wan Ali are among the list. The recorded music of the group is superseded only by their live performances. Nothin But Heatt has entertained packed houses all around including shows at Mix Nuts Comedy Store. There music was also featured on Los angeles radio station 88.9 and also The group Performed at The House Of Blues, the first annual Doesha cup awards, Glam Slam, The Century Club, The Palace, The Tunnel, The Knitting Factory, Dragon Fly, The Biltmore Hotel, Billboard Live, Crush Bar, Fais Do Do, Santa Monica Museum Of Flying, performed for Joe Jackson at his 2003 manager of a life time award, The LA Sports Arena, Hard Rock Caf, Audiotistic Concert (2005) B.B. King Club, Celebrity Center, Congo Room, Martini Lounge, Mayan Club, Shark Club, 2002 Bet Music Awards after party. College Performances Include: UCLA, USC, Santa Monica College and Occidental College. Nothin But Heatt also has a guest spot on the Worldwide Skateboard DVD Logic 10.(10 year Special Edition.) With the groups influences of Hip-Hop, R&B, Rock-&-Roll and Jazz music infecting, Their latest consciousness, the groups new smash hit album titled "Ride With Heatt" is out now on ITUNES.
