Diversity is the strength and foundation of the music Marcus(MSW) produces. Beginning with 2008's FORMATIONS(the acclaimed collaboration with Jazz legend Julian Priester) to current production of modern house, techno and electronica, diversity is embedded in MSW's sonic dna. Sometimes subtle, sometimes overt, one can hear the influences of Jazz, Rock, House, Techno, Glitch, Flamenco, Carnatic Indian music, Hip hop, Experimental and much more in MSW's musical offerings.
Usually delivered through the genre of electronic music the musical timbre always maintains a feel that is organic in nature.
Skilled in the understanding and performance of both the electric and acoustic guitar, the texture of that instrument can be found in many of Marcus's works. Look for a collection of solo acoustic works in the future.
