Mr. Da-Nos is a popular DJ, producer, and remixer from Switzerland whose style is mainstream commercial dance music, generally sung in English. Born Roland Bunkus, he made his recording debut in 1998 with House Nation, the first of his many mix albums. In 2003, “I Promised You (Anything)” became his first self-produced single to register on the Swiss singles chart, breaking into the Top 100 at number 98, and in 2004 his dance remake of the Doobie Brothers’ “Long Train Running” proved even more popular, breaking into the Top 50. In subsequent years his album releases regularly charted within the Top Ten. In 2008 alone he released three chart-topping mix albums with Doublehouse, Vol. 10, Summer Parade 2008, and The One and Only. In 2009, Mr. Da-Nos paid tribute to fans, many of whom get his name tattooed on their bodies, with the album Tattoo. He then followed up with One Nation in 2010 and Blue in 2012. In 2013, Mr. Da-Nos collaborated with the Swiss production team Bigger Than Blue for the album Green. The following year, coordinated with the World Cup, he teamed up with the Product G&B and Maury for the single “Summer Nights in Brazil.” ~ Jason Birchmeier
