Mestizo

After touring the local club circuit in 1996, Argentinean pop/rock band Mestizo recorded Superstición, soon making the band’s first video, called “Camila.” In 1997, the Latin rock foursome participated in a compilation called Los Titanes Te Atacan. A year later, Mestizo became one of the finalists in a local contest, recording a song called “Angel” for a collection of new bands. In addition, Mestizo featured “Signos” on a Soda Stereo tribute album. In 2001, Mestizo’s Mi Tierra hit local music stores. ~ Drago Bonacich
