Turrell Thomas Sims (born August 17th, 1987), better known by his stage name " XYZ " (Urstrulyxyz), is an American rapper, signer, songwriter and record producer. Born and raised in Fort Smith, Arkansas, he first became involved in music as a part of the French Montana collective, Cokeboys, where he was formally known as “MeetSims“. After amassing a series of featured collaborations between 2014 - 2018, the recording artist sought change for a new beginning, and thus “ XYZ “ was born. Between late 2014 and 2016, he had featured and written on multiple recording albums, including both Chinx’s “Welcome To JFK” and “Legends Never Die”, as well as Chrisette Michele’s “Milestone”. Since his start he has written and featured with some of the biggest names in music, including but no limited to, Chinx, Nipsey Hustle, Rick Ross, French Montana, Nas, NLE Choppa, Polo G, Kendra Jae, Migos, 2Chainz, Chrisette Michele, Tyga, etc. In one of his most recent efforts, the singer-songwriter attributed his hand in the collaborative Chris Brown and Young Thug “ Slime & B” Album, co-writing the smash hit “Go Crazy”, which has now been certified triple platinum, amassing over 3 million sales and counting.
