About this artist
Mars formed in NYC in Dec.1975 with Sumner Crane, China Burg, Mark Cunningham and Nancy Arlen, the first of the "No New York" bands. Played 30+ gigs around Manhattan and recorded a single, The No NY tracks and an EP before disbanding in Dec. '78. Since then a number of live and archival LPs have been released.
