À propos de cet artiste

LOLO is the performing name of Jackson, Tennessee native Lauren Pritchard, a singer, songwriter, and actress whose dusky mix of pop with tones of blue-eyed soul earned her some chart success in the U.K. in the early 2010s. After releasing her debut album in 2016, LOLO turned her focus to acting and issuing singles like 2018′s “Wild” and 2020′s dynamic “I Want It All.”
A singer from a young age, Pritchard moved to Los Angeles as a teenager hoping to break into the music business. She eventually got her first big break in musical theater in the role of Ilse in the Broadway production Spring Awakening. Hoping to parlay her success into a pop music career, she relocated to the U.K. and signed a deal with Universal/Island Records. Working with acclaimed British songwriter/producer Eg White, she recorded her debut, Wasted in Jackson, which reached number 84 on the U.K. pop chart in October 2010. By 2013, she’d moved back to the U.S. and adopted the stage name LOLO. Over the next few years, she released a steady stream of singles and a 2015 EP titled Comeback Queen. A frequent touring partner and collaborator with Panic! At the Disco, she also wrote a musical called Songbird. In Loving Memory of When I Gave a Shit, her debut album as LOLO, was released in 2016 by Atlantic Records and yielded a modest streaming hit in the soulful “Not Gonna Let You Walk Away.” The following year, she made her feature debut starring in the independent film (Romance) In the Digital Age. While pursuing her acting career, Pritchard managed to release a handful of additional LOLO singles like “Wild” and the energetic 2020′s single “I Want It All.” ~ Timothy Monger
