Lion Warriah is a singer, mc and producer, based in Turin (Italy), where he develops his artistic projects and cooperates with different producers, videomakers and graphic designers for the evolution of the label 4Weed Records, which he founded in 2008. Lion Warriah regularly performs in Italy and in different European countries such as Poland, Turkey, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland, UK, Wales, Spain, both on sound system and live on stage.
Over the years he played in many of the most important Italian and European festivals including the Notting Hill Carnival in London, Rototom Sunsplash, UNOD, Zion Station, Dubquake in Geneva, Dubwise Milan, the Yaam in Berlin and many others.
He regularly performs as mc with Echotronix, Dread Lion Hi Fi and with the best Italian sound systems. He was mic-man for Vibronics Jah Observer, Ras Muffet, Jah Free and Zion Train and he boasts a live performance with the legendary Scientist and Tippa Irie.
After a long series of singles on vinyl, including 'Revolutionary', 'Babilonia' and 'Sitting Bull', in 2015 he produced his first album 'Music is a Mission' with the participation of producers like Dubmatix (USA), Zion Train (Uk), Fischerman (Swe), Dub All Sense (Uk) and the featuring with Monkey Jhayam (Bra).
An international production that leads him to the production of hits such as 'Step Outta Babylon', 'Nuff Melody' (Feat. Petah Sunday & Bassliner), 'We Are Rebels','Wah Do Dem' and 'Freedom Fighter'. An ever-increasing artistic career that combines with the enduring collaboration between Lion Warriah and the videomaker Alex Caroppi (Dub Fx, Zion Train, Blood Shanti).
Lion Warriah is a relentless author, constantly evolving in style, ranging from classic rubadub, uk dub, grime, hip-hop, vapor dub and chat style, with a constant eye to the reality that surrounds himself in his lyrics.
