Born Leigh Snyder, LD (aka LDontheCut) is a southern California-based DJ / Producer / Engineer who started playing drums and writing music in 1996 (when he was in grade school). LD’s love for hip hop music sparked the start of his DJ career in 2002 and in that same year he founded Technicali. Technicali Sound started as a DJ crew and quickly turned into a movement of not only DJs, but a power house of producers, MCs, and singers.
From 2005 – to present, LD has been running Technicali Sound as a record label with an impressive catalog of over 30 releases available worldwide on all major digital retailers online. LD has toured most of the United States, Brazil, & Europe as a DJ. LD has made noise in the underground hip hop circuit recording and producing artists like GZA & U-God of Wu-Tang, MC Supernatural, RA The Rugged Man, Craig G, Aceyalone, LMNO, Akil & Chali 2na of Jurassic 5, Rakaa, Evidence, & Babu of Dilated Peoples and more.
In 2012 & 2013, LD toured North America, South America, & Europe as the DJ for Sublime With Rome. SWR shared the stage with legendary bands like Cypress Hill, 311, Melissa Etheridge, the Offspring, The Descendants, Pennywise, Pepper, The Dirty Heads, Matisyahu, Public Enemy, The Wailers, and more.
LD released his debut self produced studio album titled "Patiently Anxious" on November 26, 2013 via Technicali Sound. The album boasts features from Chali 2na, & Akil of Jurassic 5, Rakaa Iriscience of Dilated Peoples, Supernatural, Craig G, Aceyalone, Prince Po, Pacewon, Philieano, Toquon, Pigeon John, Medusa, Ariano, & Garfield of Shai.
