Swedish piano trio formed in 1997.

The Kungsbacka piano trio won first prize in 1999, the audience prize and the critics' prize at the Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition. The trio has worked as "Artists in Residence" on BBC Radio 3 and in 2003 they were Sweden's representative in "Rising stars", a collaboration between concert halls in Europe and New York, which resulted in a number of concerts around Europe and in Carnegie Hall in New York.

In 1999, the Kungsbacka piano trio was awarded a Fellowship at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and has since been named an Associate Ensemble. The members of the trio also teach regularly at the University of Stage and Music at the University of Gothenburg.

Both Malin Broman and Jesper Svedberg play instruments borrowed by the Järnåker Foundation.

The trio is the initiator of the Kungsbacka chamber music festival.
