K-Major

About this artist

Contemporary R&B artist Kendrick Browne, known as K-Major, entered the music industry during his early teens. The Georgia native was signed to producer Fatboi’s Blackshield Entertainment and worked with the likes of Shawty Redd and Kalenna, but he eventually established his own label to release the mixtape The Majority Rules. A subsequent deal with Christopher "Tricky" Stewart’s RedZone Entertainment led to singles such as “Smashin’” and the Young Thug collaboration “A Lot of Cash.” Browne’s career gained more momentum behind the scenes with material licensed to television programs, as well as material written for Usher (“Rivals”) and SoMo (“First,” “Champion”). He resumed solo work with the self-released Until Tomorrow, issued near the end of 2017, and the following year toured as the opening act on SoMo’s The Answers Tour. ~ Andy Kellman
