About this artist
The zoot-suited “Tropical Gangster” created a dynamite musical mix of disco, funk, Latin American, big band and Caribbean sounds during the ‘70s, producing tracks for Dr Buzzard’s Original Savannah Band, James White and more before scoring hits with tracks like ‘Annie, I’m Not Your Daddy’. He returned with a new studio album on Strut, ‘I Wake Up Screaming’, in 2011.
