At age 9, Kacey Baker (aka KCB) played the drums in a Symphony Orchestra, during high school he played the drums in a Brass Band, and once his High School Certificate was completed, he was one third of a heavy rock band called "Soul Damage".
While in his senior high school years he tampered somewhat with Atari Cubase, and when the band members from "Soul Damage" became too lazy not long after, KCB dedicated more of his time to Mac/PC Cubase and to producing. Once KCB collected enough equipment to start megamixing, remixing and writing his own music, he took up DJ'ing for the very first time at age 21.
Today KCB is one of Australia's most popular DJ's/Producers/Remixers having worked on both international and national groups including "Scandal'us", "Bardot", and "Girls@Play". KCB has even made music history after being the first DJ to have taken on three consecutive remixes, with all three having charted inside the Aria Top 20 at the very same time.
From remixing "Pop Groups" to writing his own Hard NRG and Trance, KCB is versatile enough to have licensed his music to many countries and cities around the world including the likes of Singapore, Brazil, Spain and the United Kingdom, as well as mixing medleys for the likes of Fatboy Slim, Kylie Minogue and even Madonna.
Some of his outstanding tracks include "Wham Bam", "The Calling", "C'mon Jump", "SQT", "One Way Jesus" and one of his biggest commercial releases, "Be With You", where he teamed up with Victor Lopez.
From the "Wild FM" megamixes to his collection of Vinyl EP's and CD compilations, KCB's music is in stores around the globe and he can be seen DJ'ing nationally in Australia's biggest clubs each and every month.
