Julika Born as the son of a biologist, Julika was raised in the McMurdo research station in one of the most desolate places on earth.............. Antartctica.
During childhood, Julika was home schooled by his mother who was also a classical pianist.
She taught him everything he needed to know including how to read and write music and introduced him to soul and disco music.
Through the internet Julika discovered techno and began tuning into many internet radio shows to find more electronic music.
After discussions with bush records, the founder Eric Powell gave Julika the opportunity to remix the classic Bush Records release, Devilfish - Manalive.
After hitting #1 on beatport, Carl Cox asked Julika to collaborate on a huge oldskool tune "the cutting edge". This remix went on to become the Space Ibiza anthem in 2011.
The success of this remix shot Julika straight into the middle of the international techno scene.
