It's a testament to Jodeci's immense talent that two of its most prominent members, brothers K-Ci and Jo-Jo, have gone on to spectacular success as a duo. Most of the four-member band's hits owe their success to the group's church-trained voices, which gave them the pipes to sing to the heavens -- even if their lyrics have more devilish implications. In fact, their transition to secular music has gone remarkably well, with sexed-up songs filling out a good part of their repertoire, and not-for-radio raps taking up the slack between verses. Their most popular fare, however, has been plush ballads made to send listeners straight into each other's arms.
