Janely's first breakthrough into the headlines in Finland came after appearing on the first season for the Finnish version of The X-Factor in 2010. After the X Factor Janely has performed hundreds of gigs all over the country with her live band and dancers, performing her own songs, as well as cover songs from popular pop and R&B artists. Janely has also been featured on the records of some of the most well-known, EMMA-winning (Finnish counterpart for Grammy) hip-hop artists in Finland, Cheek and Mikael Gabriel. As her first Finnish single Janely recorded a song called 'Pasi-Anssi' with Juno - yet another successful Finnish MC. The single was produced by Maki Kolehmainen (Robin, Aikakone). Janely's first official single in English was 'Heart On Fire' (La Brea Music, 2014). The song was produced by Markku Kytönen and Miikka Hiillos - a producer duo behind some very well-known Finnish Eurodance songs in Finland, as well as official remixes for Pandora, Captain Hollywood Project, two times #1 on Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart team 49ers, and Maxx just to name a few.
