Über diesen Künstler

Software engineer and part-time DJ/producer.
Born in 1983 and a resident of Breda, The Netherlands. Jan's interest in electronic music emerged during the early nineties when several genres reached its peak in popularity (like euro dance and happy hardcore). In 1999 he developed a serious interest in trance music and started producing under the aliases Son of a Pitch, Yanave and Evanya for labels like Afterglow, Deepblue and FiveAM, gaining support from big names like Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten and Solarstone.

During the late "zeroes" Jan's musical taste shifted towards hard and melodical electro house. Eventually he got hooked on its new subgenres that are heavily influenced by the intensity and sometimes complexity of dubstep. Since the spring of 2011 Jan has been releasing tracks in these genres on labels like Big Fish (owned by Canadian producer Lazy Rich) and Big Alliance Records. In the fall of 2011, Jan's sound got noticed by the crew of Bazooka Records, resulting in that label becoming a "home base" for his new singles, alongside producers like Spencer & Hill, Far Too Loud and Electrixx.
