Incendiary

Incendiary is a thrashy, aptly named Long Island, New York-based metalcore unit in the vein of East Coast decibel shredders like Glassjaw, Vision Of Disorder, and 108. Since releasing Crusade in 2009, the band have continued to refine their uncompromisingly heavy, adrenaline-fueled protest music, issuing acclaimed efforts like Thousand Mile Stare (2017) and Change the Way You Think About Pain (2023) that pair classic hardcore punk with neck-snapping metal.
Founded in 2007 by Brendan Garone (vocals), Rob Nobile (guitar), Dan Lomeli (drums), and Brian Audley (guitar), Incendiary introduced their lean and blunt metalcore sound on the Closed Casket Activities-issued Crusade in 2009. The band remained with the New York indie on 2013′s hard-hitting Thousand Mile Stare and 2017′s similarly pugilistic Cost of Living. Incendiary conscripted Will Putney (Knocked Loose, Every Time I Die) to helm their fourth long-player, 2023′s sonically direct and lyrically insightful Change the Way You Think About Pain. ~ James Christopher Monger
