About this artist

Gianni Bini started off in the late 80s, spinning the decks all over Italy, before turning his hand, in 1990, to recording. He chanced across another likeminded fellow in the shape of Fulvio Perniola and the Fathers of Sound were created. After grabbing the Italian dance scene by the horns, Fathers of Sound attracted the attention of such UK luminaries as Sasha, John Digweed, Dave Seaman, Pete Tong and Danny Rampling and thus, the entry into the UK and worldwide scene was complete.

His recording studio in Viareggio (Italy) has been destroyed due to a rail incident in June 2009, when a cistern wagon is derailed and is exploded at the train station of Viareggio.
