About this artist

First formed as a Discharge-derived hardcore band in 1987, over the years and several demo tapes, Sweden’s Flegma incorporated thrash metal tendencies into their music, which, by the release of 1992′s Blind Acceptance debut, was drawing comparisons to Motörhead and even death metal compatriots like Entombed. In turn, 1994′s sophomore Flesh to Dust betrayed a few new gothic hallmarks, which wound up pointing the way toward vocalist Kalle Metz, guitarist Martin Olsson, and bassist Richard Lion’s next band project, Tenebre. Second guitarist Jörgen Lindhe and drummer Martin Brorsson, on the other hand, vanished into obscurity after the band’s demise. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
